We couldn't go out last week few various reasons (hc in for me, piano for MT & violin for JT)
So on Sunday we went up Silpho instead, quite good views.

Looks nice up there. Perhaps the junior club ride can go that way at some point, if it's suitable?

That's why we went up there to check it out. I go up there quite a bit and it's usually OK, those big puddles are alwys there they never dry up. There are two of them, you just have to get of a walk round if you don't fancy it.

It's all flat up there once you've got there but some could go in cars and meet up at Reasty carpark etc. Across the road over into Broxa forest is OK as well + down to Langdale End etc by the river.

Sounds good. It's ages since I've been up that way. Pity I work most weekends, but I might just get out to one of these rides myself on my old heavy mtb.
